These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Aleen mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by Aleen ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Aleen is a self-custodial software wallet with an integrated decentralized-exchange interface for the Solana blockchain. Aleen is not a broker-dealer, securities exchange, alternative trading system, money transmitter, custodian, bank, or investment adviser. We never hold, control, or transmit your funds. Trades you initiate are swaps executed permissionlessly on public blockchain infrastructure through third-party protocols; we provide the interface only.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You may not use the Service if you are subject to sanctions, located in an embargoed jurisdiction, or otherwise prohibited by applicable law. Certain assets are unavailable to persons in restricted regions (see Section 6), and you agree not to circumvent such restrictions.
Your wallet is created and secured on your device (optionally via our authentication provider, Privy). You alone control your keys, and you alone are responsible for them. If you lose access to your login and any exported key backup, your assets are unrecoverable — by you, by us, or by anyone else. We cannot freeze, seize, recover, or reverse anything on the blockchain.
Nothing in the Service — including prices, charts, screeners, statistics, or third-party news headlines — is investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any asset. Content is provided for information only. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions.
Tokenized stock assets ("xStocks") are tracker certificates issued by third parties (Backed Finance) that follow the price of an underlying security. They provide price exposure only — no shareholder rights, voting, or dividends. They are issued subject to the issuer's own terms and are not available to persons in restricted regions, including the United States. Availability shown in the app depends on your region and may change. We are not the issuer of, and make no representations about, these assets.
Digital assets are highly volatile and can lose all value. Additional risks include smart-contract defects, blockchain congestion or failure, depegging of stablecoins or tracker certificates, loss of keys, and regulatory change. Do not trade funds you cannot afford to lose.
The Service relies on third parties we do not control, including Solana RPC providers, the Jupiter aggregator, Privy (authentication), market-data providers, and news publishers. Their services are governed by their own terms and may be interrupted, changed, or discontinued at any time.
You agree not to use the Service for unlawful activity (including money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion), to circumvent regional restrictions, to interfere with or reverse engineer the Service, or to infringe others' rights.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT MARKET DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR TIMELY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, ASSETS, OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) FEES YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND (B) USD $100.
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Aleen operating entity is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. [To be finalized upon entity formation.]
